Friends of Kannur Expats Association (FOKE) held its general body meeting on 22^nd 2013 at Indraprastham auditorium - Mangaf.  Secretary Shymesh .K.K welcomed the members.

President K. V. Vijayesh, in his presidential address emphasized the importance of the association in expatriate’s life and how FOKE is helping them in this regard. Also FOKE has already started the foundation works of its visionary project - Kidney Dialysis Centre at Kannur.
Gen. Secretary M. P. Jithesh presented the annual report. Financial report was presented by Treasurer K. C. Sunil Kumar.  The presidium consisting of B.P. Surendran, Jayan.T.V and Omanakuttan.K controlled the general body. During the meeting memento was presented to the  children participated in Kannur Maholsavam-2012.  Chief Patron Sri IV Dinesh, Patron Sri. Somaraj, Patron Sri Suryanarayannan, Vanithavedhi chairperson Smt. Anitha Somaraj  distributed the memento.

The general body elected new office bearers and Executive committee for year 2012-2013. Omanakuttan.K (President), T.K. Raghavan (Vice President) Shymesh.K. K (Gen. Secretary), Rajesh Parapprath, Prakashan.P.P, Biju Antony, Prashanth. K.P, Anup.K. R (Secretaries). K.V. Vijayesh (Treasurer) and Soman. P (Joint Treasurer) as new office bearers for the year 2013. 15 member executive committee consisting of Jithesh.M.P, K.C. Sunil Kumar, Sunoj KP, Girimandhiram Sasi, Nikil.C, Chandramohan Kannur, Vijayakumar.N.K, Shyju Pallipuram, Surendran B.P, Xavier Antony , Murali. C, P.K.Ramesh, Biju Kalliyasseri, Suresh Babu.M, Balakrishnan were also selected.

Vanithavedhi Patron Smt Ambika Suryanarayannan , Gen. Convener Smt Adv: Vidya Subod and Vice Chairperson Smt Surya Vidhyadharan etc felicitated the newly elected committee members

ഫ്രെണ്ട്സ് ഓഫ് കണ്ണൂര്‍ എക്സ്പാട്ട്രിയെര്‌സ് അസോസിയേഷന്‍ ( ഫോക്ക്) പുതിയ ഭാരവാഹികളെ തിരഞെടുത്തു

ഫ്രെണ്ട്സ് ഓഫ് കണ്ണൂര്‍ എക്സ്പാട്ട്രിയെര്‌സ് അസോസിയേഷന്‍ എട്ടാം വാര്‍ഷിക ജനറല്‍ബോഡി യോഗം മംഗഫ് ഇന്ദ്രപ്രസ്ഥം ഓഡിറ്റോറിയത്തില്‍ പ്രസിഡണ്ട് കെ.വി. വിജേഷിന്റെ അധ്യക്ഷദയില്‍ നടന്നു. മുഖ്യ രക്ഷാധികാരി ഐ.വി. ദിനേശ് ഉല്‍ഘാടനം ചെയ്യുകയും സെക്രട്ടറി ശൈമേ ഷ്.കെ.കെ സ്വഗതം ആശംസിക്കുകയും ജനറല്‍ സെക്രട്ടറി എം.പി.ജിതേഷ് പ്രവര്‍ത്തന റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ടും, ട്രഷറര്‍ കെ.സി. സുനില്‍ കുമാര്‍ സാമ്പത്തിക റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ടും അവതരിപിച്ചു. കണ്ണൂരില്‍ സ്ഥാപിക്കുന്ന ഡയാലിസിസ് സെന്റരിന്റെ  പ്രാരംഭ നടപടികള്‍ തുടങ്ങിയതായി ഭാരവാഹികള്‍ അറിയിച്ചു. കണ്ണൂര്‍ മഹോത്സവത്തില്‍ പങ്കെടുത്ത   കലാകാരികള്‍ക്കും, കലാകാരന്മാര്‍ക്കും ഉപഹാരങ്ങള്‍ നല്‍കി അനുമോദിച്ചു . പുതിയ ഭാരവാഹികളായി പ്രസിഡണ്ട് കെ.ഓമനകുട്ടന്‍,. വൈസ് പ്രസിഡണ്ട് ടി. കെ. രാഘവന്‍, ജനറല്‍ സെക്രട്ടറി ശൈമേഷ്.കെ.കെ, ട്രഷറര്‍ കെ.വി. വിജേഷ് , ജോ. ട്രഷറര്‍ സോമന്‍.പി എന്നിവരെ തിരഞെടുത്തു.  ആശംസകള്‍ അര്‍പ്പിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് മുന്‍ഭാരവാഹികളും, രക്ഷാധികാരികളും, വനിതാവേദി ഭാരവഹികളും സംസാരിച്ചു .
