Friends of Kannur Expats Association ( FOKE) held its general body meeting on 27th May 2011 at Indian community School, Khaithan. Secretary Omanakuttan welcomed the members. President B.P. Surendran, in his presidential address emphasized the importance of the association in expatriate’s life and how FOKE is helping them in this regard.
Gen.Secretary .T.V Jayan presented the annual report. Financial report was presented by Joint. Treasurer .K.V. Vijayesh. FOKE Chief Patron, I.V.Dinesh, Vice President Anil Keloth,, FOKE Vanitha Vedi patron Mrs, Ambika Sooryanarayan and Chair Person Mrs. Anita Somaraj addressed the members.
The general body elected K.V Vijayesh (President), P.K.Ramesh (Vice President) Jithesh.M.P (Gen. secretary), Shymesh.K, Ravi Kapadan, Murali.C, Suresh Babu, Shyju Pallipuram (Secretaries) . K.C. Sunilkumar (Treasurer) and Vipin.C (Joint Treasurer) as new office bearers for the year 2011-12. A 15 member executive committee also was selected.
